Plymouth County Firing Range
Plymouth County hired MW Studios to conduct a feasibility study for a new centralized indoor firing range and classroom building. The project looks to consolidate the 40+ law enforcement agencies who train at surrounding, privately owned outdoor ranges into a centralized county-owned indoor facility. The project provides multiple indoor firing ranges at 25 and 50 yards in length, with additional weapons storage and cleaning spaces. All ranges have been designed to facilitate tactical firing exercises from a dynamic firing line, allowing users to advance and shoot from the rear positions all the way to the 3-yard line without fear of ricochet hazard. The live fire training program is supplemented with multiple auditoriums and traditional classroom and assembly spaces in addition to many virtual training simulators for driving and de-escalation tactic training.
