The existing building and site constraints were analyzed to understand the existing constraints or opportunities for improvement. Based on the evaluation and programming efforts with the station, it was determined that demolishing the existing living area and providing an addition to provide living and office space would provide the station with the function they were looking for while maintaining the apparatus bays with limited renovations.
