Joint Base Andrews Crash Rescue Station 1
This project proposes an aircraft firefighter rescue station located in Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The structure will be single-story in height and have a footprint of 35,882 square feet in total. This facility houses a combination of structural and aircraft rescue firefighting personnel and equipment. Located in this facility will be apparatus bays, a training room, a kitchen, residential dorms, and administrative offices. The mezzanine level will be used for auxiliary storage and utility equipment placement. The proposed structure will be type IIB (IBC), non-combustible construction, and fully sprinkled.
