Communities are a product of their people, and where and how those people engage and interact with their local government is important in any municipality.

MW Studios is passionate about creating environments that enable local governments to provide a high level of service and care for their citizens. Our projects range from public libraries and community centers to animal care facilities and domestic violence shelters. Each project is tailored to the unique needs of the stakeholders, and our experience in conducting community focus groups and town hall meetings ensures we extract the most relevant data from the end users.

When designing the new Engine 10 Ladder 11 fire station in South Philadelphia, MW Studios was integral in working with LAYER Architecture to create a strong and trusting relationship between the client, the design team, and the Philadelphia Fire Department. Rob Manns and his team are adept at speaking the language of first responders and can easily translate their  needs into reasonable solutions.  Unlike other technicians, MW Studios is a design-oriented architecture firm. Working with our design team, they enjoy resolving the technical needs of the city and the fire department while transforming a garage for emergency apparatuses to a home away from home, a community center, and a first rate building that anticipates the inevitable challenges that confront an evolving service to the community.”
