The concept of the community center is over a century old, yet it constantly evolves and adapts to the needs of each community it serves. Whether they focus on sports and recreation or activities for senior citizens, these projects often function as neighborhood hubs where people from a diverse range of ages and background come together and interact.
We see these projects as impactful to the community and look for opportunities to engage people in focus group or community meetings as a regular part of our design process. These projects are most successful when they are the result of careful research and assessment of a communities needs and wants.
