Othello Park Community Center
MW Studios was hired by Frederick County to design a new community park and recreation center. Our proposed project involves developing a 26,020 gross square feet recreation center at the northwest corner of Othello Regional Park, with an additional 10,000 sf extension designed as an add alternate. The project includes outdoor amenities like playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, a skate facility, and a community garden, all offered as alternate options. Mass grading for unbuilt roads and fields is also included, designed, and bid as an added alternative for comprehensive site development flexibility. This approach ensures adaptability during construction, allowing customization based on community needs and budget considerations.
