NVA Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral Clinic Renovation
This project involves the comprehensive renovation of a 31,000 square foot, two-story building to establish a state-of-the-art 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic. The facility will feature an animal hospital equipped with an emergency room, intensive care unit, surgical and operational rooms, as well as diagnostic imaging capabilities, including x-ray and CT machines, an O2 generator, and an MRI trailer. In addition to these critical areas, the design incorporates veterinary office spaces and outdoor relief areas to enhance patient care.
The renovation includes significant upgrades to the building’s exterior envelope to ensure compliance with water and thermal performance standards. The overarching design goal is to create an environment that promotes efficient treatment while minimizing stress for both animal patients and their human caregivers. By harmonizing functionality with comfort, the clinic aims to deliver exceptional veterinary care around the clock.
