This past Friday brought an exciting new era to Carroll County Public Library just in time for the holidays! MW Studios was fortunate to be part of the new Exploration Commons at 50 East, which provides Carroll County with a new collaborative and experimental learning space. The key features include a Makerspace, Teaching Kitchen, a VR Room, Recording Studio, Greenscreen area for videos, 150-persons meeting room, and other flex spaces. The Makerspace modernizes library services and provides state-of-the-art tools to empower the community to design, engineer, fabricate and learn. The teaching kitchen will provide programs and hands-on classes for all ages to teach and provide confidence for everyone who wants to work in the kitchen, both personally and professionally. Congratulations to the Exploration Commons staff and our team BKM, Mechanical/Electrical Engineers , and Lewis Contractors! The Exploration Commons at 50 East is officially open!
