Studio Culture
Our team operates from a collaborative office environment in Upper Baltimore, Maryland, just minutes from Interstate 95. Our studio is equipped with the industry’s cutting-edge technology, including state-of-the-art workstations, Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, large-format scanners, 3D printers, and laser plotters. In addition, our virtual reality suite serves as an integral part of our design process, allowing us to create immersive, interactive experiences for all project stakeholders.
Moreover, our small yet growing size, combined with our significant investment in technology, ensures that principal staff remain directly involved in all aspects of the design process. Every project benefits from the skilled and attentive care it deserves while remaining cost-effective.
We wholeheartedly embrace an open studio atmosphere that promotes vibrant conversations and values everyone’s contributions. Our regular critique and pin-up sessions, as well as fun activities like happy hour axe throwing, paintball, golfing, pickleball, and adventurous multi-day hikes, are essential to our collaborative spirit. We celebrate the diverse passions of our team, aiming to cultivate a lively and enriching culture together!
We’re big on hands-on learning, too! Whether it’s visiting job sites or throwing on full fire gear and running through a training session at a tactical village, we jump at the chance to experience the environments we design for. Seeing what it’s like to be part of a fire crew or walk through a space mid-construction, with safety and consent, helps us design smarter and makes the work way more fun.
