The Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company selected Manns Woodward Studios to provide design services for the complete renovation of their existing station along with a 15,000 SF expansion bringing the total project size to 30,000 GSF. The project requirements include the design of three new back-in apparatus bays, new administration/office space and new kitchen/dining and recreational spaces. Renovations and upper floor expansion provides the department with 19 bunk spaces and 9 live-in dormitories. Additional upper level space provides the department with three new training rooms capable of seating upwards of 100 people for regional training classes. The facility has been master planned to allow for occupancy during construction and is projected to cost $5.25 million.
